Key concepts & fields
| Concept | What to know |
|---|---|
| Receipt | Incoming stock. |
| Issue | Outgoing stock. |
| Transfer | Stock moved between locations; confirm the source and destination. |
| Adjustment | A correction to a recorded balance. Use it for corrections rather than ordinary incoming or outgoing stock. |
| Request / approval | The review workflow for stock that needs authorization. |
Troubleshooting
The balance is unexpected
Check the item and warehouse, then inspect the underlying movement records and their status.
A transfer appears missing
Check both source and destination and open the transfer record. Do not enter an adjustment simply to duplicate a transfer.
