Key concepts & fields
| Concept | What to know |
|---|---|
| Stage | The delivery state, such as Draft, Planning, Active, Under review, Invoiceable, Invoiced, Completed, or Closed. Available transitions depend on the current stage and configuration. |
| Milestone | A delivery checkpoint. Review its completion and billing readiness before requesting an invoice. |
| Task | An assigned piece of work used to track delivery progress and, when configured, time. |
| Owner | The person responsible for the project. A displayed project-role label alone does not grant management rights. |
Troubleshooting
A stage is unavailable
Only transitions allowed from the current stage are offered. Closed and cancelled projects have no outgoing transitions in the default configuration.
Completed work is not ready to invoice
Check milestone billing readiness and the approval state separately. Completion is not an invoice approval.
